Time for a Minimum Wage Increase?

June 10th, 2012 by JBWK

In more employment-related legislation, the House of Representatives is considering a bill to raise the federal minimum wage to $10.00 per hour. It would change every year based on the Consumer Price Index.

It would also increase the minimum wage for tipped employees to 70% of the normal minimum wage, or $7.00 per hour if the bill passes as written.
