With more than four decades of courtroom experience, Herbert V. Kelly Jr. (“Bert”) is a seasoned trial lawyer who has handled complex litigation across Virginia’s state and federal courts. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes disputes involving real estate, mold environmental claims, personal injury, products liability, professional liability (including real estate errors and omissions) and claims against residential property managers.

- Defended landlords and property managers in mold-related personal injury claims statewide (2000 – 2026)
- Successfully defended a $2 million products liability claim in the Supreme Court of Virginia resulting in dismissal of the claim for late filing (filing fee was two dollars short)
