MILITARY LAWJones, Blechman, Woltz & Kelly provides a broad range of services to members of the military and their family that often are referred to as "Military Law." We have represented active duty and reserve component members before Courts-Martial and at Administrative Separation Boards throughout the United States and overseas. Because of our familiarity with laws applicable to federal installations, we represent persons who have been charged with motor vehicle violations, shoplifting and other offenses before Federal Magistrate's Court. Our services also include a variety of military administrative law issues including correction of military records, discharge upgrades, evaluation appeals and security clearance appeals. This knowledge and experience has allowed us to offer added benefit to other practice areas in the firm. For example, our familiarity with military benefits and entitlements has assisted our Family Law section in divorce cases. Similarly, employers have sought our advice concerning the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act and the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. Areas of Concentration:
The attorneys in this practice group have extensive active and reserve component experience. We have represented members of the active, reserve, and retired components of all branches, federal civilian employees, and members of their families. We are accustomed to working with commanders, military lawyers and other government officials to help clients get the best possible result. Military Law Group |
